Dysphagia - difficulty swallowing, can be life-threatening and deeply affect dignity and recovery. Our speech and language therapist, Greer, recently attended a leading international dysphagia conference, bringing back new evidence-based approaches now shaping care at Mildmay. Supported by charitable funds, this learning is already helping us improve safety, recovery and quality of life for patients with complex needs.
