From Loss to Leadership: James's Story
When James lost his mother to an HIV-related illness, his education nearly ended too. Mildmay's Universal Fund stepped in, covering his school fees so he could stay in education. Today he's a peer educator with Uganda's PIASCY programme, teaching others about HIV prevention, and hopes to train as a doctor. An important note for supporters who give by CAF voucher
The Charities Aid Foundation stopped issuing CAF vouchers on 1 May 2026. If you still have blank vouchers at home, you can still use them to support Mildmay, but please act quickly. All vouchers must be received and processed by 1 August 2026. Simply make yours payable to Mildmay Hospital and post it to us as soon as possible.
