Today is Palm Sunday, the start of Holy Week. For Christians, it is the most significant week of the year.

At Mildmay, faith is part of who we are. Our roots go back to 1866 and a tradition of faith-motivated care. That ethos continues today. Our chaplaincy service supports patients, staff and visitors across the hospital throughout the year, and Holy Week is a particularly meaningful time in the chapel calendar.

Sister Bernie, Mildmay's chaplain, marks the day with a special service and the distribution of palms. She has written a short reflection on what the week means, which you can read in full on our chaplaincy page.

Wherever you are this week, we wish you a peaceful Easter.
