On World AIDS Day, our wonderful colleagues from Mildmay Kenya again did what they do regularly and went out into the field to reach ordinary people with HIV and other vital healthcare and well-being messages.

During the day's activities, our Kenyan Country Director, Elizabeth Oluoch, met James Orengo, the Governor of Siaya County. James Orengo is a Kenyan lawyer, a well-known human rights activist and a politician. He is also one of the few Kenyan lawyers who have attained the professional grade of Senior counsel in the legal field

Mildmay works closely with the County Government of Siaya in several areas, from HIV prevention to sexual and gender-based violence education and campaigning.


In fact, just a few days earlier, Mildmay Kenya was at the forefront of a rally with other Stakeholders to Mark Day One of #16daysofgenderactivism.
