Here is our Volunteer Coordinator and Social Worker/Counsellor, Isobel, making up hygiene and care kits for our patients.
Our homeless patients, in particular, arrive from their stay in an acute hospital with very little, or perhaps with nothing at all. We are pleased to be able to provide each of them with a welcome package of essential toiletries; toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit, shower gel, deodorant, and so on.
It makes such a difference to the well-being of our new arrivals to be given the means to look after themselves and it's thanks to the donations we receive from our supporters and recently, a Samaritan Fund Grant from London Catalyst, and we are extremely grateful to you all for helping us to provide for our patients.
Each kit costs around £10, which includes a reusable, resealable bag which our patients can take with them when they move on. If you would like to help us purchase items for these kits, then you can make a donation here.
