We have been touched by the response to our recent call for stories from those who worked at Mildmay during the height of the 1980s and 90s HIV/AIDS epidemic. We'd especially like to thank Carol Anne, who shared her experiences so openly.

Carol Anne's dedication to improving care for people living with HIV/AIDS is truly inspiring. Her story highlights the profound impact individuals can have in the face of immense challenges. Her work to create models of good practice demonstrates immense compassion and courage.

Her efforts not only ensured dignified care for individuals but also paved the way for improved community support systems. We are grateful for her tireless work and the significant contribution she has made to healthcare and for helping to ensure the long-term future of Mildmay Hospital.

Carol's story also reminds us of the important role Mildmay played in providing care and hope during a difficult time. We continue to build on this legacy by offering specialised care and support to those living with complex medical conditions, including HIV.

We encourage you to contact us if you, like Carol, have stories to share about your time at Mildmay. We value your experiences and insights, and they help us continue to learn and grow as an institution dedicated to serving the most vulnerable.
