This is a database of records of nurses who trained and/or worked at Mildmay throughout its long history. It is constantly being added to as new information becomes available.

The initial source and inspiration for this archive was the Pioneering Nurses website of Kings College London.
We also aim to trawl the online database of the Royal College of Nursing's The Nursing Record / The British Journal of Nursing, 1888-1956 database, in due course. The intention, at least initially, is for our register to be a record of the nurses who trained and/or worked at Mildmay Hospital, rather than one of the several other Mildmay Institutions (such as the Mildmay Nursing Home).
