Today is the launch of World AIDS Day RED RUN 2025 - London’s vibrant 5K and 10K charity fun run and walk, which will take place on Saturday 22 November 2025 in Victoria Park, East London.
It’s more than a run - it’s a celebration of community spirit, awareness, and progress in the fight against HIV.
Since 2009, RED RUN has raised over £1.3 million to support HIV charities nationwide, with £232,000 raised in 2023 alone, benefitting 30 organisations. Mildmay is proud to be part of this powerful movement.
What is RED RUN really about?
It’s not a race - it’s a show of solidarity. RED RUN fo World AIDS Day brings together people living with HIV, those affected by it, healthcare workers, advocates, and allies for a joyful, inclusive day of action. With DJs, drag queens, the AIDS Memorial Quilt, and a buzzing community village, the atmosphere is more celebration than competition. It’s about remembering how far we’ve come and reaffirming our commitment to the work still to be done.
