On Wednesday 30 September, we were delighted to welcome the Right Reverend Paul McAleenan, Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster, to Mildmay Hospital at the invitation of our chaplain, Sister Bernie. It was his first visit since 2017.
Bishop Paul, who oversees hospital chaplaincy across the diocese, joined staff and patients for coffee before lunch in the hospital garden. Reflecting on his visit, he said:
"Mildmay is a real family. Whether you are a patient, staff member or volunteer, you very quickly feel a part of it."
