Mildmay Hospital’s Quality Account 2024–25

The front cover of the Mildmay Hospital Quality Account 2024-25

We’re pleased to publish our Quality Account 2024–25, outlining how Mildmay continues to deliver high-quality, specialist care for people with complex HIV-related health needs.

This year’s Quality Account details new and enhanced services including:

  • The development of a new neuropsychiatry pathway, broadening patient choice in north-east London.

  • Continued investment in step-down inpatient services to support local NHS Trusts and reduce pressure on acute hospitals.

  • Patient-first improvements such as reduced delayed discharges, enhanced infection prevention, and consistently strong staff and patient feedback.

NHS North East London ICB Commissioner's statement

Our commissioners at NHS North East London ICB have welcomed our commitment to service quality, staff wellbeing, and innovation, while recognising our efforts to embed the NHS Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), with thematic analysis identifying key areas for action.

In a year of financial pressures across the healthcare system, we are proud to have upheld our mission through continued collaboration, resilience, and compassion.

These reports are published annually by each provider, including the independent sector, and are available to the public.

Quality Accounts are an important way for local NHS services to report on quality and show improvements in the services they deliver to local communities and stakeholders.
