Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mildmay Mission Hospital.

John is an Anglican priest in the Diocese of Canterbury and joined the Board of Mildmay in 2004. He became chairman in 2007 after several visits to HIV and AIDS projects in Uganda, London and across the Pennines where he worked with doctors and other health professionals in hospices, hospitals and surgeries. Since 2009 John has been working in partnership with statutory and regional authorities on the frontiers of church and community life in Margate, one of the most deprived parishes in the South East of England. Through church and community centre open seven days a week thousands of people of all ages seek wholeness and well being as well as spiritual succour and counsel related to their own situation.
