Eminent broadcaster Sir Martyn Lewis’s career blends 32 years as a television journalist and news anchor with extensive experience in the charitable and business sectors. He was a presenter for various BBC News programmes between 1986 and 1999 and was known for his involvement in the coverage of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997.
He was awarded a CBE for services to young people and the hospice movement in the Prime Minister’s Honours list of 1997, and a knighthood for services to the voluntary sector “especially the hospice movement” in 2016.
