We currently have two positions available at Mildmay UK Hospital.

CLINICAL LEAD NURSE (RGN)

Band 7 Equivalent (£37,699 – £47,778)

37.5 hours per week:  Closing date for applications: 24th November.

 

Mildmay Mission Hospital remains at the forefront of care and development of services in relation to complex HIV related conditions, particularly HIV-related neuro-cognitive impairment (HNCI). Mildmay continues to develop innovative models of care based on experience and research.

We use a multidisciplinary team approach to provide a range of holistic services to our patients and clients. We are looking for an enthusiastic, well motivated clinical lead nurse who is looking for a challenge, is committed to their professional development and who wishes to participate in the delivery of excellent patient focused care in a specialist multidisciplinary setting.

In this role, you will be responsible for and take a lead in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients. You will assist in the development and continuous quality improvement of the service. A key role of the clinical lead nurse is to lead by example and be a role-model for the nursing team. We are looking for an individual who is able to support junior staff in their professional development, through excellent and effective clinical leadership, mentoring and sharing of knowledge. You will be fully supported in this role with ongoing training and clinical supervision.

Day Service Therapeutic Lead

Occupational Therapist Band 7 Equivalent (£37,699 -£47,778 pro rata per annum)

22.5hrs per week: Closing date 30th November.

Mildmay Mission Hospital remains at the forefront of care and development of services in relation to complex HIV related conditions, particularly HIV-related neuro-cognitive impairment (HNCI). Mildmay continues to develop innovative models of care based on experience and research

Mildmays Day Services support men and women with symptomatic HIV or other chronic disease which require varying levels of supportive rehabilitation in the community, including rehabilitation specifically designed for clients with HIV Associated Neurocognitive Disorders.

We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist with managerial experience, to lead and continue to develop our therapeutic rehabilitation interventions in Day Services. The post holder will manage all activities and co-ordinate the provision of long term and short-term programmes of assessment, maintenance and rehabilitation. The post requires you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills as the team has strong links with community services (i.e. colleagues in Health and Social Care). Collaborative working with Mildmay MDT and community services is essential.

The post holder will also give clinical and management leadership that optimises staff skills and provides high quality day services, whilst keeping them within available resources.
