Ambassador

Sally Harrison is a long time supporter of Mildmay and became an Ambassador in 2016 during our 150th anniversary year. Sally is a soprano and a specialist in the music of Hans Werner Henze, has sung Minette The English Cat in Berlin, Gütersloh, London and at the Montepulciano Festival, Cantata della fiaba estrema with the Scharoun Ensemble of Berlin, Novae de infinito laudes with the London Sinfonietta and Whispers of Heavenly Death with the Ensemble Modern of Frankfurt.

Her recordings include Mercédès Carmen for Chandos and Sultana Rose-in-Bloom The Rose of Persia for CPO. Her broadcasts include Friday Night is Music Night for BBC Radio 2 and Marek’s Mother We Are Klang for BBC Three.

Sally has supported Mildmay by performing at various events including all of our Christmas carol Concerts from 2013 to 2018 and performed at our event to remember and celebrate the life and legacy of Diana, Princess of Wales.

We are delighted that Sally has agreed to be our Ambassador and help to raise awareness and support for our vital work.
